There are a couple reasons why I have chosen to pursue Spanish as a second language.
I have been self teaching with assistance from my partner. Here are my ordered tips from this process so far.
To get started, use a website like SpanishDictionary.com to learn vocabulary. You can also use sites like Duolingo to be exposed to new vocabulary, however, you should not rely on it soley. I also recommend that you find a podcast or course to get you on the right track. I love the Language Transfer course for Spanish as it focuses on training yourself to think in spanish, not be afraid to make mistakes, and shows you how many words in english can be easily translated. Finally, your local library is a great source books or other media in Spanish or that teach the language!
To summarize, learning a new language is hard but worth it. I'll leave you with some new Spanish words to use.
